A sail of two halves today. Very well powered up on my 5.2 rigged flat.
Initially felt good and all was going well. Some nice jups, gybes and
generally good sailing. Most of all I was in completely the right frame of
mind for the session - well fired up and really going for it. But then
about half way through suffered a huge fully planing catapult. Whilst
hooning along at full speed back to the beach, a bit of chop caught the
front of my board and pushed it downwind, pulling me forwards and sending
me flying over the front whilst still hooked in. Understandably this
slightly knocked the stuffing out of me and for the rest of the session
after that things didnĀ“t go so well. Shame, since the conditions were
mighty fine and it all started so well. So only 3 stars.
